E49 - Karen Caughey, Executive Director of The ALS Society of Alberta and Betty’s Run for ALS
“It’s an amazing and resilient community that always wants to support each other.”
If the state of the world has you seeking the joys in life - let me introduce you to Karen Caughey. Karen joins me on behalf of Betty’s Run for ALS, an annual event organized by The ALS Society of Alberta to raise much-needed funds towards ALS research and those that are living with and affected by this horrible disease.
For this year's 24th run, a virtual experience that allows others to participate online from anywhere, Betty's Run has launched #SeizeTheDay4ALS – a 14-day social media challenge that encourages others to celebrate the little joys in life, capture them in a photo and share it.
Join me as Karen welcomes us into this amazing community and walks us through the work that The ALS Society of Alberta does to help hundreds of families and how you can participate in Betty's Run for ALS on June 21st, 2020.
There is no better time than now to #SeizeTheDay4ALS.
